By placing an order and completing checkout at Monel web shop you agree to the following terms and conditions.
General
Terms stated below apply to all sales of goods and services from www.monel.no to customers. The purchase agreement is binding for both parties when the buyer has placed the order. However, Monel can not guarantee that all items in the web shop always are in stock. We reserve the right to cancel the order if item is not in stock or if we are unable to obtain authorization for payment.

Pricing
All prices displayed on the website are in local currency when available, otherwise in NOK or EUR. Payments will be made in Norwegian Kroner (NOK) at check out. Retail prices in NOK are inclusive tax.
Payment
Total amount invoiced including duties, taxes and freight cost will be displayed at checkout.
We offer safe payments using credit cards (e.g. Visa and Mastercard). Transactions on www.monel.no are processed using Klarna and Stripe, third party secure online payment gateway that encrypts your card details in a secure host environment. Additionally, we offer payment through PayPal, and for Norwegian customers – Vipps.
Shipping & Shipping Cost
- Norway and Sweden
We offer free shipping options for orders to Norway and Sweden. Orders to Norway will be handled by Bring and Posten. Option for at-home delivery in Norway is available, freight cost will then be added to the invoiced amount.
Orders to Sweden will until further notice be handled by DHL.
- Europe
We offer DHL shipping in Europe at a rate of NOK 399. DDP delivery terms. All taxes and duties included at checkout. Free shipping in Europe is available as a time-limited opening offer only.
Areas where DDP is not available DAP will be used and invoice for duties and taxes will be issued directly to customer from DHL

- Unclaimed packages
If the package is not picked up within the time frame provided by the forwarder it will be returned to us. We reserve the right to charge the customer for all costs in relation to the return shipment. If you wish the package to be re-sent shipping charges will be added to the total amount.
Delivery
- Delivery has taken place when the buyer, or their representative, has taken over the item(s). The goods must be delivered within 30 days after the order has been confirmed. In the event of delays beyond the expected delivery time, buyer will be informed by the carrier. If the time of delivery exceeds this, and was decisive for the conclusion of the agreement, the claim for cancellation must be made effective within a reasonable time after the buyer became aware of the delivery.
- Delivery time
Your order will be shipped within 2-5 working days. When your order is shipped you will receive an e-mail with confirmation and tracking for the goods. We will always aim for fast delivery of goods. For orders to Norway goal is to deliver within 1-3 days, for delivery to other countries delivery time may vary.
- Risk
The risk for the goods passes to the buyer when he, or his representative, has had the goods delivered in accordance with point 5.1.
Return policy
For returns, exchanges, claims or refund requests for products purchased and shipped outside Norway and Sweden please contact us.

Goods may be returned within 15 days of receipt. Goods must be in perfect condition, unused and in original packaging including all hangtags and labels. Products that have been washed, modified, damaged, or used (hereunder smell of e.g. perfume or cigarettes) will not be accepted.
Package the unused product well before returning it. You are responsible for the product until it is received by Monel.
Returns will only be accepted if the product is purchased from www.monel.no. For products purchased elsewhere, please direct your return request to the designated retailer.

Privacy
Seller is responsible for collected personal data. Purpose of collection is to manage online sales activity (e.g. managing orders, shipments and payments) and/or marketing purposes if you have signed up for our newsletter.
We will handle your personal information with care and will not pass any such information to third parties.

Disputes
Complaints should be directed to seller within reasonable time. Parties will try resolving the dispute amicably.
If the dispute is not resolved, buyer may contact Forbrukerrådet for mediation. (+47 23 40 05 00) www.forbrukerradet.no Applicable by law: The laws of Norway. Jurisdification: Oslo, Norway.
Customer can also contact EU commission Online Platform (ODR) to issue a complaint, this is especially relevant if customer is based in another EU country.

Reservation of Rights
We reserve the right to ask you to remove links or specific links to our website.
We reserve the right to cancel orders, is this case you will be notified and refunded if item is already paid for.
We reserve the right to exclude countries and certain areas from placing orders and completing checkout, list of excluded countries will be updated consecutively.
We reserve the right to adjust product prices at any time, updated price will appear at checkout.
